PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie

A meteor crash lands in Adventure City giving the Paw Patrol superpowers turning them into The Mighty Pups.

For their second feature length movie the focus is on Skye (McKenna Grace) learning to deal with her fears of being the runt of the litter. And of course that small does not necessarily mean useless.

The villain count increases for this movie as all sequels should with the mad scientist Victoria Vance (Taraji P. Henson) joining Mayor Humdinger (Ron Pardo). And of course they will create various hijinks for the heroes to resolve.

All of which of course is in aid of more toys and merchandise. As with the first film, Paw Patrol: The Movie this one makes a direct joke about this cash in by apologising to parents for giving the pups new suits and new vehicles to buy. Something that is capable of funding a voice cast that includes Kristen Bell, James Marsden, Chris Rock, Kim Kardashian and her children.

Other than that direct apology/gag there is nothing for adults here except 88 minutes of entertainment for your little ones. My youngest was super excited to watch this and was very happy with the outcome. Whilst my eldest just had to go along with it. I on the other hand was just happy to have my daughter hold onto my arm whilst she enjoyed the ride.
