When Elsa starts to hear a magical call that only she can hear she sets out with Anna, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff to find its origin. They find an enchanted forest where the spirits of Earth, Air, Water and Fire reside that holds the key to the origin of Elsa’s magic and the continued safety of Arendelle.

Frozen 2 is the kind of sequel that hits every mark that it needs to. An already beloved original film is joined by a sequel that matches its merits and gives all of its fans everything that they need.

Technically it’s fantastic with stunning imagery across the forest and seascapes it is set in. It features a whole host of new songs, including my personal favourite segment, Kristoff in an 80’s power ballad music video. And adds an incredibly cute animal that the kids will love.

The story is fine to. Opening up the world of Frozen and filling in some backstory to the magic that lives within it.

If you enjoyed the original at any level you will be a very happy person watching this.
